Anytime your client books directly on a public website like RCCL, they have just purchased as a consumer. When that happens, you have missed out on your opportunity to receive commission. As a travel agent only you have access to RCCL’s (and other travel site) agent sites, where you can either be registered as a travel agent or add our agency identifiers at the time of booking. It is important that you and you alone work with the suppliers when booking with your clients, that is how to book a commissionable rate.  Your clients should not contact the supplier to make a commissionable booking or book online as a consumer.
